Dr. Mahnke provides individual therapy for adults and young adults. She believes that a supportive therapeutic relationship is the essential foundation of effective therapy. Building on this foundation, Dr. Mahnke collaborates with clients to help them make changes in their lives guided by their own strengths, values, and goals. Dr. Mahnke’s integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and responsive to cultural and diversity factors.

Dr. Mahnke received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium in Palo Alto, California. Before her doctoral work, she pursued her interest in human development and psychology at Harvard University where she completed a Master of Education. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System and a postdoctoral residency at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts. During her time at the VA, she pursued specialty training in PTSD/trauma and chronic pain. She has clinical experience in a variety of settings including an academic medical center, community mental health, and college counseling.
