Cecile Gunn, M.Div., Ph.D.

Dr. Gunn is a licensed psychologist who works with adults & couples coping with variety of concerns, including but not limited to:

• Identity development/self-esteem  
• Body image  
• Acculturation difficulties  
• Chronic pain & medical issues  
• ADHD  
• Religious/spiritual/existential issues  

Dr. Gunn works from a relational and psychodynamic orientation, creating a supportive and collaborative relationship with clients, where difficult emotions are a welcome part of the process. Dr. Gunn has a particular interest in religious and spiritual issues and honors how various religious traditions or spiritual values intersect with the client’s goals for psychotherapy. 

Dr. Gunn completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and Religion at Boston University and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute in Brookline, MA. Dr. Gunn also has specialized training in eating disorders and the treatment of anxiety from the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders in Boston. Dr. Gunn is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychology at The University of New Hampshire and is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She continues to provide consultation to schools regarding students who have experienced trauma, as well as professional development on religious diversity.  She treats clients via TeleHealth.
