Dr. D’Abundo is a post-doctoral fellow who provides individual psychotherapy to adults and young adults. Utilizing her strengths of compassion, authenticity, and humor, Dr. D’Abundo strives to create a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment where clients feel encouraged to explore areas of vulnerability. Dr. D’Abundo’s therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from humanistic, dialectic-behavioral, cognitive-behavioral and relational approaches. Her practice incorporates skills building and insight development with consideration of client’s values and needs. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process that can promote self-acceptance, awareness into emotional experiences, and greater understanding of relational patterns. Dr. D’Abundo received her bachelor’s degree from High Point University and her doctoral degree from William James College. She completed her APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship at University of California, Riverside’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
