Hunter D’Abundo, Psy.D.

Dr. D’Abundo is a post-doctoral fellow who provides individual psychotherapy to adults and young adults. Utilizing her strengths of compassion, authenticity, and humor, Dr. D’Abundo strives to create a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment where clients feel encouraged to explore areas of vulnerability. Dr. D’Abundo’s therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from humanistic, dialectic-behavioral, cognitive-behavioral and relational approaches. Her practice incorporates skills building and insight development with consideration of client’s values and needs. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process that can promote self-acceptance, awareness into emotional experiences, and greater understanding of relational patterns. Dr. D’Abundo’s clinical interests include:

Dr. D’Abundo received her bachelor’s degree from High Point University and her doctoral degree from William James College. She completed her APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship at University of California, Riverside’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
