Judy Faberman, LICSW

Judy Faberman is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing individual, couples, and family therapy.  Her clinical interests and background include the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment disorders and substance use disorders.  Judy uses a combination of relational and evidence-based psychotherapies, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy in her work.  She believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance through empathic listening and collaboration as the keys to healing and change.

Judy earned her Masters degree in Social Work at Boston College.  Judy brings to her position at CPA a broad range of experience in clinical and administrative roles in both substance abuse and mental health treatment settings across the continuum of care.  These include working as a clinician at Worcester State Hospital, as the Program Director and clinician for McLean Hospital’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse Residential and Partial Hospital Treatment Programs, the Family Program and Clinical Director for SunspireHealth Spring Hill Recovery Program, and the ACCS Integrated Team Director for the Edinburg Center.
